In connection with Tom Johansen’s death, we were reminded to report changes to the board. The chairman made verbal contact with the registers and was informed that it could be done after the 2025 Annual Meeting.

Sir Michael Rose
In connection with UNPROFOR 1992 – 1996, there was communication NORAIR and Sector Commander Sarajevo Sir Michael Rose. In that context, Tom Johansen played a central role and had during the time under UNPROFOR and after communication with Rose. FYBG then found it timely to notify Sir Michael Rose of the death of Tom Johansen.
On November 17, 2024, an e-mail was sent informing him of what had happened.

Adjustment of the meeting minutes of the Balkan Group
Member Trond Hilmar Østgård reminded of the process for the meeting referees. A review was made of the results shown from this meeting related to previous meetings.

Sponsors.
In connection with the finances of the Balkan Group, it is now clear that at the next Annual Meeting 2025 a treasurer must be elected. The leader has so far taken care of that task and solved it continuously. FYBG has created an account in DnB for the organisation.
The election committee has been informed of the situation.
Several options for specific input were discussed.
Case 43/2023-2024
The Balkan Group in Denmark.
Board member Søren Marinus Dieckman proposed to take into consideration to form a similar group in Denmark, as there are no similar organization in the country. He wanted to address this topic and if possible, establish a subdivision in Denmark for the future.
At the same time, he considered holding a physical board meeting at the barracks in Aalborg in the summer of 2025. It was discussed week 17/18 in 2025 as an option. He will return to the matter at the next board meeting in 2025.
Case 44/2023-2024
Miscellaneous
It was discussed to appoint Tom Johansen as Honorary Member of the Balkan Group. Here, statutes must be in place in advance.
The chairman has ensured that the Balkan Group is now on the Yellow Pages.
